About Me

Hi, I’m Mariana! If I could compare my life – motherhood, marriage, and everything it entails – to anything, it would be to riding a bike with no hands. Teetering along, having little control over what happens makes me a little nervous sometimes, but I think I’ve found a good balance and it just feels right.

Sure, sometimes I feel like I’m headed straight into a hedge and I’ve come across more than my fair share of potholes, but I just hold my breath, take it all in, and enjoy every second, because life is passing me by way too fast.

‘Riding with no hands’ I’m free to reach for the things I really, really love and am having so much fun along the way.

Fast facts:

• I’m 29 years old (”old” being the defining word there!)
• Been married to the love of my life for 8 years.
• Have two amazing daughters, 4 and 2 years old.

For the sake of anonymity and my love of anything chocolate, I’ll call my daughters my M&M’s – Marsy & MaryJane*, respectively.

* Marsy as in Mars Bar and MaryJane (MJ for short) as in the candy. Yes, I know Mary Janes aren’t made of chocolate, but the little girl on the wrapper is just too cute!
