My Life in Photos. {Week 5}

Snowed in, we are.  Not sure why, talking like Yoda, am I.

Anyhow… here’s week 5 of my 365 Project! I’m 10% done. Haven’t missed a day so far, but it’s been harder than I expected to remember to take a photo a day. Go back and look at weeks one, two, three, and four

Friday

MJ’s finally grasped the concept of puckering her lips when applying lip balm. It’s the cutest thing! What’s funny about this photo is that she actually stayed in this position for a minute or two when I said “Hold on! Don’t move!” so I could go and grab the camera.

365 Project - Day 29

Saturday

Snow. Snow. And more snow. The snowiest winter we’ve had in years. Maybe ever.

Sunday

They were away from each other for 4 hours, and made it up with a 5 minute embrace. So sweet! Read more about this hug here.

Monday

Everyone has a junk drawer, right? Only problem is I have about 13 of ‘em. Got to do something about that. I just got a drawer organizer from Rubbermaid, so that should get me off to a good start.

365 Project - Day 32

Tuesday

Something about the way this paper lamp glows just fascinates me. We got it at Ikea around 8 years ago, if I remember correctly. This is where I sit and write. And watch TV. And take naps.

365 Project - Day 33

Wednesday

Yeah, snow. Again. It’s the story of my life these days. Getting the girls dressed to go out and play is such a pain. I’m over it.

365 Project - Day 34

Thursday

Going with the theme! Made this happy snow lady in my daughter’s ceramics class. She started off by making the body, but got bored. You know how 5-year-olds are. I poked holes in the sides so I could put real twigs in for arms, but unfortunately the scarf fell down a bit when drying, and one of the holes is now semi-covered. I guess I have to use a pipe cleaner instead. Something that bends. I may start going to this class by myself in the late afternoon, after the girls have their turn. I enjoy making things with my hands, and at only $5 per class, I can’t use the excuse that “I can’t afford it…”
