Great article! I just saw these at Target the other day and was impressed. Your review answered the questions I had about the seats - now I just need to scrape together the cash! Ouch!

I read that it doesn't have to be *exactly* at 45 degrees, if space is an issue. It is tight, though, with the back of the car seat pretty much touching the front seat.

I have the same questions as above. Is there a problem with space with it backwards facing?

I was told that "industry standards do not allow the use of bromine on the seat, so... Complete Air is free of bromine chemicals!"

Did you have a problem with space when you put it in backwards facing? We have a mini van and find that the front seat has to be almost completely forward in order to have the line be level with the ground.

Thanks for the great review! I was very helpful. One question -- do you have any idea about the chemicals that might be in the seat (i.e., bromine)? I checked Healthycar.org but the seat still must be too new to be listed. Alternatively, did the seats have a chemically smell when you took them out of the box?
Thank you so much!

Hello,

What a great review! I wanted to get one immediately after reading your review. You mentioned that Safety 1st sent you two Complete Air Convertible Car Seats with Air Protect at no charge, to try out and keep; I was wondering how can I get one to try out as well? Can you provide advise and insights? Thank you!

If you don't like the included cup holder there's always this one. Works right on the armrest in the minivan.

They're on eBay and Amazon (more expensive on Amazon however), but also through that site I linked, which the wife and I used the coupon code "$5off", but not sure if it's still active. Never hurts to try, just leave off the quotes.
