I love it when Disney opens up their famous vault and releases a classic film onto DVD. This time, it’s the movie that started it all – Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs! Originally released in 1937, this was the first full-length animated film in motion picture history. It was re-released in 1944, and again every 7-10 years since. The amazing thing is that it’s as appealing to my children now as it was to my grandparents almost 72 years ago. I’m not sure if I can say that about any other movie!

Technology changes from one year to the next, and Disney has taken full advantage of that with this new release, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: Diamond Edition. Not only will you get the classic tale of Snow White in this 2-disc special, but it comes with plenty of extras, too!

It includes a Blu-ray disc and a DVD in one convenient package! You can enjoy the incredible high definition experience of Blu-ray at home, and use the DVD elsewhere; in the car, or on your computer, for instance. Whether you currently have a Blu-ray player or plan to get one eventually, the combo pack with both a Blu-ray AND a DVD disc is a great option.
